Dr. Joanne Fisher, an advocate for the Women’s Veterans United Commitee is giving a Baby Shower to expectant Veterans as well as giving support to the women who have sacrificed for this country.
Dr. Joanne Fisher is a strong advocate for the Women Veterans Committee Inc. dealing with the needs of women veterans that are not receiving the same opportunities as their male veteran counterparts. Dr. Fisher is also advocating for the mental health for all veterans that are dealing with different levels of mental disorders: PTSD, MST, etc.
Ms. Robin Walker-Salas understands that when a veteran is incarcerated, they have little or no support. That is one reason why she has intervened by becoming an advocate for veterans who are incarcerated. Whether they need legal representation or other resources, these veterans served their country to protect our Democracy. They deserve to maintain the benefits they received as compensation for their sacrifices.
As Americans are enjoying the freedoms they fought for, these incarcerated veterans find themselves dealing with a growing population of naysayers, having strong opinions that these veteran men and women don't deserve any special treatment.
